Last week, I was at Dakota Leeds shooting photo and video for Digital Camel’s Data Leaders Roundtable.
We live in a world where, if something isn’t photographed, it almost feels as though it never happened. So I was glad to be there capturing the people, conversations and atmosphere that made the event what it was.
Photos show people that an event happened. Adding video invites them to be part of it. It captures the movement, voices and smaller interactions that help someone watching online feel like they were actually in the room.
That extra layer can turn an event into something people continue engaging with and talking about long after everyone has gone home, or even make them consider wanting to be part of the next one.
